“Home is where the heart is, it’s where your entire being and life is formulated. Home makes you everything you are, it shapes you into the person you are, or will become. Personally I do see home as that place, but the person it’s been moulding me into isn’t what I would have chosen. While most people are moulded into nice men and women, I am constructed to represent the perfect embodiment of misery.”
One of the most remembered line from a memory I found. It resembles many things the “outcasted” feel. Home is more or less a prison until you turn of age and has enough money to move out. The person you become is only decided in the thoughts you have and the way you think on life. But life is what the world around you is doing. Never listen to the media or what any people think, you are who you are and no body else. What’s with this world and making everything you wanted to enjoy a total mess? It seems like I’m not the only one who thinks about that.
Home is a place where life is hidden and then when company comes over a plastic film is placed over everything to make the world see the “fake all perfect family”. It sickens me in the way the makes you want to die. The world is shielded by the fact what you see on TV and read and hear on the news always has to be true. WELL ITS NOT!! And don’t forget that. You have your right to your own opinion and don’t ever take that for granted. If you don’t agree with something stand up and tell them. It’s not about the majority it’s the minority. You are who you believe is and not what the media is. You don’t have to be rail thin and have blonde hair to be looked upon with respect. If this world all looked like Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan, I think I would seriously recommend mass suicide.
Individuality isn’t just a word to look long and intelligent. It’s meant to make people look upon themselves and make them feel like its okay to look the way you are. But the media is “brainwashing” people into buying what everyone else is. It’s not the want of having it, it’s the need of wanting it because everyone else has it. When it becomes “out-dated” then everyone who likes it and still has it is un-cool to the people who have money to run with the fads.
Just please this once. Think about what you want and not what everyone else wants. And if you have what everyone else has shut up and move on. Don’t be making fun of the people that can’t afford to have everything. Because if you haven’t noticed, rich people aren’t always happy. Misery is meant for books and movies, not for teen’s lives.
